Hand/Upper Extremity Rehabilitation
All PT sessions at Impact are one-on-one with Tara, a physical therapist and certified hand therapist. Customizable care is provided meaning that the duration and frequency of each session as well as the overall time investment in formal PT will vary person to person. Treatment techniques and exercise programs are tailored to individual needs. Clients will have easy access to Tara in between sessions as questions will likely arise in between meetings.

Every person and injury is different. Even if the injury is the same, the person is different and there are many factors that go into healing. Things like type of injury, compliance with recommended treatments, and basic biology and physiology all impact healing and recovery, making it impossible to predict what your specific timeline will be.
However, part of the education you will receive from your physical therapist during your initial appointment will include an estimate of the amount of time you will need to invest in formal PT to feel better.
The overall goal of PT is to decrease your pain, improve your functional limitations, and ultimately provide you with the tools and confidence needed to get better and stay well.

All benefits, regardless of insurance carrier, will be run by a professional medical biller and presented and explained to you prior to your first appointment.
